Our Commitment

Gambling as Entertainment — Not a Financial Strategy

Pakistan has a passionate sporting culture. Cricket — from the PSL to ICC tournaments and bilateral T20 series — draws enormous attention. Football, UFC and live sports round out a sports-betting landscape that millions follow. bjji acknowledges that enthusiasm and builds its platform around it.

But we're also clear about something that the gambling industry sometimes underplays: gambling involves real risk. Money wagered is not guaranteed to be returned. Outcomes are uncertain. Chasing losses rarely ends in recovery — it most commonly ends in greater loss. The tools on this page are here to help you maintain a healthy relationship with gambling so it stays firmly in the "entertainment" column.

bjji's responsible gambling framework applies equally to every registered user — whether you're in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or Peshawar. The tools are the same, the standards are the same, and the expectation that gambling remains recreational is the same for all.

bjji does not imply that gambling is legal in Pakistan. Pakistan has gambling restrictions including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. Users must understand their applicable local law independently.

How bjji Approaches Responsible Gambling

Tools That Are Easy to Find

Every responsible gambling tool — limits, reminders, cooling-off, self-exclusion — is accessible directly from your account settings. You don't need to contact support to set a deposit limit. You don't need to fill in a form to activate session reminders. These tools are where you need them, when you need them.

Transparent Communication About Risk

bjji does not use language that encourages excessive play or portrays gambling as a path to financial improvement. Promotional communications are direct and honest. Wagering requirements are explained clearly. We do not glamourise loss or celebrate reckless play.

Proactive Monitoring

bjji's platform monitors account activity for indicators associated with gambling harm — including rapidly increasing bet sizes, extended uninterrupted sessions and patterns consistent with loss-chasing. Where these indicators are present, the platform may prompt the user to review their limits or contact support.

Immediate Response to Exclusion Requests

Self-exclusion requests are actioned without delay. If you need to step away — for a week, a month, six months or permanently — that request will be processed and enforced. Attempting to circumvent a self-exclusion by creating a new account is a breach of the Terms & Conditions.

Support for Affected Individuals

If gambling is negatively affecting you or someone you know, support is available. Our team can assist with account closure, limit escalation or direction to appropriate support resources. Urdu-language communication is available through our support channels for users who prefer it.

Account Controls

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

Six player-facing controls available to every registered bjji account — no support ticket required to activate them.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum PKR deposit amount per day, per week or per month. Once a limit is active, deposits that would exceed it are declined automatically. Decreasing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit is subject to a cooling-off period before it applies — this is intentional and protects you from impulsive decisions.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum amount in PKR you are prepared to lose across a defined period. When your net losses reach your chosen threshold within that period, further wagering from your real-money balance is paused. Loss limits are one of the most effective tools for keeping gambling within a comfortable budget.

Session Time Reminders

Choose a session duration — 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours or a custom period. When your session reaches that point, an on-screen reminder lets you know how long you've been playing and prompts you to consider whether to continue. Long uninterrupted sessions are associated with increased risk; these reminders interrupt the flow intentionally.

Cooling-Off Period

If you want a short break without committing to full self-exclusion, a cooling-off period blocks account access for a defined window — from 24 hours up to 6 weeks. During a cooling-off period, you cannot deposit, wager or access your account. Promotional communications are also suspended for the duration.

Reality Check Prompts

Enable on-screen prompts that display your current session profit or loss at regular intervals. Keeping an accurate picture of your net position in a session is a simple but powerful way to maintain perspective. Many players are surprised by their actual position when it is displayed plainly — that's the point.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion closes access to your account for a minimum of 6 months or permanently. It is the most comprehensive tool available. Once activated, it cannot be reversed during the exclusion period. Account balances remaining at the time of exclusion will be made available for withdrawal after identity verification is completed.

Most Important Tool

Self-Exclusion — What It Means & How to Use It

Self-exclusion is the clearest signal you can send yourself and the platform that gambling has stopped being recreational. It is not a penalty — it is a tool designed for exactly this situation, and using it is the right decision when gambling is causing harm.

Once a self-exclusion is active on your bjji account, your account is immediately locked. You will not be able to deposit, place wagers or receive promotional communications for the duration of the exclusion. If you chose a time-limited exclusion, you will need to complete a reinstatement process at the end of the period — it is not automatic.

Permanent self-exclusion closes your account with no reinstatement option. This is appropriate if you have concluded that gambling is not compatible with your wellbeing. This decision is respected and supported without judgment.

Important: Creating a new account after self-exclusion is a breach of the bjji Terms & Conditions and will result in permanent account closure and forfeiture of any associated balance. If you discover a new account has been opened in your name during an exclusion period, contact [email protected] immediately.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion can be requested through two routes — choose whichever is easier for you right now.

Route 1: Through Account Settings

1
Log in to your bjji account and navigate to the Account Settings or Player Safety section.
2
Select "Self-Exclusion" from the responsible gambling controls menu.
3
Choose your exclusion period: 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 5 years or permanent.
4
Confirm your selection. The exclusion takes effect immediately. A confirmation is sent to your registered email address.

Route 2: Contact Support Directly

1
Email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" and your registered username.
2
State your chosen exclusion duration — or request permanent closure if that is your preference.
3
Our team will action the request without delay and send a confirmation. You do not need to justify or explain your decision.
Financial Controls

Keeping Your Spending Within Comfortable Bounds

Financial limits are the most straightforward way to make sure gambling stays within a budget you're comfortable with — regardless of session length or game outcome.

Daily Deposit Limit

Set a maximum PKR amount you can deposit in any 24-hour rolling period. Useful if daily sessions are your primary pattern.

Weekly Deposit Limit

Cap your weekly deposits across all methods. A strong default choice for players who budget on a weekly basis.

Monthly Deposit Limit

A monthly cap provides the widest picture of spending across a full billing cycle and aligns with monthly income patterns.

Net Loss Limit

When net losses reach your defined PKR threshold within a period, wagering from your real-money balance pauses until the period resets.

Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. There is no waiting period when lowering your threshold — this is intentional.
Increasing a limit is subject to a mandatory reflection period before the new, higher limit activates. This is a deliberate safeguard against impulsive decisions during a losing session.

Practical tip: Before your first deposit, set a monthly deposit limit that reflects a realistic entertainment budget — an amount you would be genuinely comfortable losing entirely, since that is always a possible outcome. PKR 1,000, PKR 5,000 or whatever is right for your circumstances. Adjust it only after careful reflection, never in the middle of a session.

Reflect on Your Play

Is Your Gambling Still Recreational?

The following questions are not a clinical assessment. They're a prompt for honest self-reflection. If several of these apply to you, it may be time to use the controls on this page or speak to a support professional.

1
Do you find yourself thinking about gambling when you're not playing — planning your next session, calculating what you could win, or replaying losses in your mind?
2
Have you ever increased your bet size or deposit amount to try to recover money you previously lost?
3
Have you been dishonest with family or friends about how much time or money you spend gambling?
4
Has gambling ever caused arguments, conflict or tension in a personal or professional relationship?
5
Have you gambled with money that was needed for essential expenses — rent, food, school fees, bills or EMI payments?
6
Have you tried to stop or reduce gambling and found it difficult or impossible to stick to that decision?
7
Do you feel a need to gamble with progressively larger amounts to get the same level of excitement you felt when you started?
8
Has gambling ever affected your work, studies, sleep or physical and mental health in a way that concerned you?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you do not need to wait until things are worse before taking action. Setting stricter limits today, requesting a cooling-off period or initiating self-exclusion are all reasonable and supported responses. Contact bjji support at [email protected] for assistance with any of these tools.

Underage Protection

Protecting Minors from Gambling Harm

bjji enforces a strict adults-only policy. Access is limited to individuals aged 18 or older, or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licence jurisdiction or applicable local law. This is not just a policy checkbox — it is actively enforced through identity verification at the account level.

Shared devices present a risk in households where children are present. bjji strongly recommends that adults take the following practical steps to prevent minors from accessing their account:

  • Never save your login credentials in a browser on a shared device.
  • Enable two-factor authentication so account access requires a verification step.
  • Log out of the platform fully after every session — do not rely on session timeout.
  • Use device-level parental controls where available on your phone or tablet.
  • If a minor has accessed your account, contact [email protected] immediately.
18+ only, or the higher minimum required by the operator/licence jurisdiction. bjji will request proof of age and may suspend accounts pending verification at any time.
What Happens When Underage Access Is Suspected
Account Flagged
The account is immediately suspended pending investigation. No further deposits, wagering or withdrawals are permitted while the review is active.
Mandatory KYC Requested
Government-issued identification is requested to verify the account holder's date of birth.
Account Closed if Confirmed
If underage access is confirmed, the account is permanently closed and winnings from underage play are voided. Deposited funds may be returned in accordance with applicable obligations.
Report Underage Access
If you are aware of a minor who has registered or is using bjji, email [email protected] immediately. These reports are taken seriously and acted upon without delay.

Play within your limits — bjji makes it straightforward.

All responsible gambling tools are live in your account settings right now. If you have any questions about limits, exclusions or support options, our team is available 24/7.

Pakistan Legal Notice

Gambling Laws in Pakistan

Pakistan has gambling restrictions including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. The legal status of online and remote gambling in Pakistan is not straightforward — restrictions vary by activity type and jurisdiction. bjji does not provide legal advice and nothing on this page or this website constitutes a legal opinion.

bjji is not licensed, regulated, approved or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), the State Bank of Pakistan, any provincial authority, or any Pakistani financial institution including Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank or Bank Alfalah. Payment provider references on this platform are contextual only.

Players are solely responsible for understanding the laws applicable to them in their jurisdiction before participating. Being 18 does not make online gambling lawful in all Pakistani contexts. If you are uncertain about your legal position, seek independent legal advice before participating.

Responsible gambling tools manage the experience of gambling — they do not change its legal status in your jurisdiction. Please understand applicable local law independently.
